Why does everyone want to send Justin Bieber to North Korea?

I've heard North Korea is a pretty bad place. I've noticed a lot of his haters are trying to get people to vote him there. I don't particularly like Justin Bieber, but I don't want to see him get hurt or anything crazy like that. Just wondering. Correct me if I am wrong.

Answer on Why does everyone want to send Justin Bieber to North Korea?

Remember hearing about Euna Lee and Laura Ling?

Two American journalists, Laura Ling and Euna Lee, were detained by North Korean officials and were sentenced to spend years at a North Korean labor camp. The ONLY reason they got released was because Former President Bill Clinton talked to the president, and had them released. However, had Bill Clinton not been there, they would STILL be stuck in North Korea.

Nobody leaves North Korea. It's KIND OF like a black hole -- things go in, but they never come out. Sunan International Airport is the only international airport in the country. The government in North Korea is extremely cruel to the people who live there. North Koreans have been known to be malnourished, and the government makes their people believe that the United States is their enemy. They are pretty much enemies of every other East Asian country. My dad showed me a satellite photo once, of the Korean peninsula -- South Korea was completely lit up, from Seoul to Icheon to Busan, and the only light that came from North Korea was from the capital. The government treats their people VERY poorly, literally keeping them in the dark from the rest of the world.

I don't know why North Korea doesn't want people to leave the country, but the fact of the matter is that they don't. The reason people want Justin Bieber to go there is because he will never come back, and people, frankly, are getting very tired of the Bieber Fever, and want Justin Bieber to be done with. So, they think North Korea is the best way to get rid of him for good, because they know about North Korean politics. Or they at least know about Euna Lee and Laura Ling.
