So basically, I have been trying to lose weight recently. I started at 123 pounds about three weeks ago and am currently at around 113 pounds. I didn't realize the weight would go that quickly, but some of it may have been water weight and maybe even muscle mass considering I was working out a lot before and for the last month have stopped. I went from eating around 1700-2000 calories a day to eating anywhere from 900-1300 a day. I don't feel like I'm starving myself, I have a soft boiled egg on whole wheat toast every morning and then snack on bananas, apples and carrots at school and then I have a full dinner at home with all the food groups. I've also been drinking 3-4 liters of water each day if not more. I've noticed that I have almost no energy though, I'm always cold unless I'm wearing three jumpers, a beanie and a scarf, and sometimes I feel sad- from lack of sugar maybe? I don't know. Like I said, I haven't been exercising recently, I've gone from an hour and 20 minutes of weight training/cardio to nothing, but soon soccer and rugby season will be starting up again so I'll get my exercise with those as well as refereeing. Gah, I know this is long, but basically what I'm wondering is, am I doing anything wrong? I'm worried that being cold is a sign that my metabolism is slowing down? If it slows down does that mean I'll just end up eating less for no reason and never being able to eat more without gaining weight? Everything I look at just says less calories in than out equals weight loss but I'm worried that my metabolism is going to hit rock bottom.
Thank you so much if you took the time to read all that! x_x I know it's ridiculously long.
