I've been living in Florence Italy for well over a year and have a job I enjoy immensely. Yesterday my employer offered me a permanent position - it is very difficult to acquire permanent work in Italy - which means I can support myself and not have to worry about being unemployed in the future. All this should make me happy, as living in Italy has been a life long dream. Instead I feel nervous and unsure of myself. I keep thinking that it's too good to be true, and that something bad is waiting for me. What should I do? Please help?
Answer on Why am I so nervous when everything is right?
Don't you think it is normal to be nervous and excited to be offered permanent position. It means you can support yourself. You are living your dream and not everyone gets to do that. Obviously you have been doing a great job or you wouldn't have been offered this position. What should you do? Stop worrying and enjoy the life you always wanted.
