Huge blood clot and birth control?

Hi, I'm 15 and I'm on the pill (quasense-generic seasonal) for medical reasons. I'm near done with my first 91 day pack, I've got 3ish weeks left until I'm supposed to get my period. Anywho, I forgot a pill and took it the next day, late on that days pill as well. Since then, I've had a heavy (for me) period, as well as excruciating pain. I feel like its not only in my uterus, but my left ovary as well. Todays cramps were so bad that my legs felt funny and it hurt to walk. I took a nap because I was in pain, and I feel fine now. The thing is, I found a HUGE blood clot on my pad a bit ago. It was the size of a silver dollar, and it was like one continuous piece, different than how my much smaller clots look. It looked like a giant piece of my uterus fell out... I don't even know how it MADE its way out. Anyways, I'm just worried seeing as how clots that large are so abnormal to me, and it looked so funny. I am not sexually active and I'm a virgin. Is this happening just because the lining from before I went on the pill is there and its just cleaning itself out? Should I call the doctor? Please help! Thank you SO much!

Answer on Huge blood clot and birth control?

It's no big deal. A piece of your uterine wall came off before fully decaying as it usually does before you menstruate, and the reason is that your hormones are out of whack and occurring in amount not generally seen with your natural hormones.
