I am currently a college sophmore at University of Washington in Seattle in the process of choosing were to conduct my study abroad. I am a business major interested in accounting and possibly doing business course work while abroad, although studying biz courses is not too important. While I am abroad I want to travel around Europe and just soak up as much culture as I can. I would be going abroad for a semester, and information about which school to choose and why would be greatly appreciated :]
note: I will have had 2 years of university level Italian language classes (potentially 3, if I decide to do a summer intensive prior to departing my study abroad) before I leave
Answer on Should I study abroad at Bocconi University (Milan, Italy) or RSM Erasmus University (Rotterdam, Netherlands)?
Since you will likely be able to converse and understand your lessons better in Italian, it seems only logical to take that knowledge and apply to the Bocconi University. From Milan, you can head off to any spot in Europe. Now, since you are in Southern Europe there, most of your travel will be north. Should you take a chance with the language in Rotterdam, you would be further north, but nearly central to many hot spots, therefore, for travel purposes, that may pose a better option. Tough to overlook where your trained language is though, so I would recommend you go to Milan.
