I'm fine with eating pretty much everything, Im active and believe in a healthy diet, what should i get? I would like to start eating at home again! :) Keep in mind i would like it tasty, i hardly go out anymore to eat, and dont really buy alot of food for make meals around the house, lets say 45$ budjet. Im fine with making my own bread, eating eggs, beef, pasta, beans, greens, would just like to be introduced to some tasty healthy recipes i might not know. that i can combine lots of foods and ignridients to prepare and eat for several days after making. I've really got into making huge batches of vegetable and chicken soup lately. It's packed with nothing but nutrients (ok, a little salt from the stock) but it's cheap, it's easy, it's filling and it lasts a week so long as you bring it to a boil each day. Saved me loads of money and lost weight too (!)
Chopped onions, garlic, potato, carrots, celery, broccoli, cabbage, corn, peas....etc, add couple pints of stock, tomato puree, chilli/curry paste, pulses & beans, macaroni, whatever you like and cooked chicken. Simmer one hour. Eat well all week :)
