People to People Student Ambassador?

Do you know what that is? I got a letter in the mail yesterday saying I've been invited on a trip to Spain, France and Italy next summer. I've heard of some people who have done it, but I don't really know what it is. Do you?

Have you ever gone on one of these trips? Can you tell me more/email me please? Like how much did it cost, what did you do, how long is the trip, etc.?

Answer on People to People Student Ambassador?

My sister got invited to China a few years ago. Your teacher can recommend you. One of my sisters' teachers let her know that she recommended her for the program. That's why she got the letter. Your teacher does not need to ask you for permission. She/He could just sign you up without letting you know. We went to a meeting for it. In that meeting there will be a lot of other students with their parents. In that meeting, it is explained what you will do in Spain. It's a cultural experience for students. You would have to raise money yourself to go on the trip. You would also have to take lessons about the culture in that country before you go. I don't remember how much it was. Maybe around 3-5 grand. Attend the meeting with your parents and you'll get all the answers you, as well as your parents, want.
