I definitely think that 5 times a week for 30 minutes is better because it keeps your metabolism going and will condition your body better because of the constant exercise.
But if you can, definitely try to push it to 40-60 minutes on some days(one or two of the 5, maybe 3).
Also, try to make your two days off occur every other day or every two days between workouts, not saturday and sunday, because your body starts to lose conditioning after 3 days and it will be more beneficial to have days off in between.
