England doesn't have a general dress code. It's very varied and you get lots of different styles. I wouldn't say the dress code is really very different from Italy, but I guess people tend to wear more layers as unfortunately it's a lot colder her than Italy :(
As for greetings, it depends. When talking to friends, the language tends to be a lot less formal, for example:
Ciao - we would say 'Hey' or 'Hi' when greeting someone or 'See you' or 'Bye' when saying goodbye. Despite what you may find on the Internet, when talking to friends we don't tend to say 'Good Afternoon' or 'Good Evening'
